The Intech 4L Inline 6 Cylinder Engine came out in the Mighty AU Falcon.

A revision on the SOHC engine first introduced with the EA in 1988, the Intech has many unique parts, including a longer rod, shorter piston, thinner valves, lower ratio rocker arms, MLS head gasket and cross-bolted oil sump.

These changes did not lift the on-paper power output of the engine but did result in a higher revving engine.
