Buy Engine Sensors at T.I. Performance
T.I. Performance stocks a diverse range of OEM and performance engine sensors, built for performance and reliability, such as Throttle Position Sensors (TPS), Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensors, Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensors, and Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensors. Data from these sensors are sent to the car’s Electronic Control Unit (ECU), allowing it to adjust the Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR) or timing for optimum engine performance.

The Oxygen Sensor (or lambda sensor), commonly also referred to as the “O2 sensor” is another key sensor which plays an important role in your engine’s performance. Usually mounted in the exhaust manifold as a part of your cars exhaust system, the O2 sensor measures the amount of unburnt oxygen in your exhaust as it exits the engine and transmits the data to your cars Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to maintain the correct AFR for your engine.

A wideband O2 sensor is usually fitted when doing Engine Calibration, Data Logging, Performance Tuning. It’s important to pair-up your Wideband O2 sensor with a Wideband O2 Controller for real-time monitoring of the AFR. Check out our DIY article on how to fit and use a Wideband O2 Sensor for more information.
