EA-FG Falcon 4L Turbo Conversion Kit. These kits are hand made to order and suit EA EB ED EF EL AU BA BF and FG Falcon 4L Barra, Intech and SOHC 6 Cylinder engines. Our price includes GST.
Rated to 350+rwkw and 20+psi boost, these Spoolinboost turbo kits utilise the tough factory cast exhaust manifold (with flange end machined flat). Dyno and track testing has proven the stock cast manifold with this up-pipe will outperform and outlast a typical aftermarket turbo log manifold, simply due to better exhaust gas flow (rather than a log with sharp 90 degree tees), as well as not suffering the cracking and warping issues common with fabricated manifolds. As a result, the back pressure ratio of these systems is much lower, giving improved volumetric efficiency – and a setup that will produce less engine bay heat, take more ignition timing, and make more power per psi. Perfect for a cheap and easy NA+T conversion!
These turbo conversion kits provide proven bolt-on performance, with the Spoolinboost Turbo EF Falcon running 11.1@127mph and a customers EB Falcon recently running 10.9@130mph. With the proper supporting mods and E85 these kits have made over 400rwkw on multiple cars.

- Turbo manifold / up-pipe (bolts onto factory NA exhaust manifold to make a NA+T) to suit Barra, Intech and SOHC
- Gaskets (2.5″ 2 bolt, Stainless T3, Stainless Wastegate x2, oil feed, oil drain)
- Genuine Turbosmart GenV WG38 38mm Wastegate – 7/14psi (adjustable by spring)
- Spoolinboost Turbocharger with 62.45mm comp wheel, .8AR exhaust housing, T3 flange, oil cooled, 360 thrust bearing for high boost (rated 400rwkw). 58/67mm ball bearing turbo upgrade available using selection (rated 450rwkw)
- V-band clamp 3″
- 3″ mandrel bent stainless dump pipe
- Mandrel bent stainless screamer pipe
- Oil feed kit (1/4″ – 1/4″ male fitting, 1/4″ tee piece, 1/4″ – 1/8″ reducer, braided oil line, flange plate with bolts and AN fittings x2)

What you will need to add
To get this turbo kit running you will need to add a few parts, depending on your power goals and budget. We suggest the following at a minimum:
- 3″ intercooler piping
- 3″ silicone joiners and clamps
- a boost controller such or boost tee
- a boost gauge
- a BOV such as this Turbosmart Kompact 34mm Dual Port
- a fuel system to support boost, pick from the following optopns:
- EA-BF E85 – Walbro 460 Fuel Pump & Bosch 980cc Injectors
- EA-BF 98 – Walbro 255 Fuel Pump & Bosch 440cc Injectors
- FG NA plastic manifold 98 – FG NA 4 Bar Fuel Reg & FG NA 627cc Injectors (drop in)
- FG NA plastic manifold E85 – FG NA 4 Bar Fuel Reg & Bosch 980cc Extended Nose Injectors w/ Raceworks short -> 3/4 length extensions (drop in)
- FG Turbo cast manifold 98/E85 – FG Turbo 4 Bar Reg & Bosch 980cc 3/4 Injectors
- Surge tank (if racing)
- valve springs to handle the boost
- a tuning solution such as our Full House DIY Tuning Kit or Haltech Elite 750 for EA-AU, or our Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 cable for BA-FG Falcon with PCMTec
- a Wideband O2 sensor to monitor your Air Fuel Ratio
- some heat management to avoid melting brake boosters and wiring (eg. GT35 turbo beanie / some heat wrap / heat shield / plug boots / heat sleeve), and
- optionally, a decent exhaust system, surge tank, camshaft(s) to suit boost, etc.

Below are estimated prices to ship the two cartons that make up this kit. We will contact you after ordering to confirm the final postage price to your destination. These kits are hand made to order and can have a 1-6 week lead time depending on demand.
Where possible we post bulky items with Australia Post or Couriers Please, with tracking and signature on delivery. If you are not close to a suburban area additional charges may apply. Add $30 for insurance cover if required and request it in your order notes. We only charge what the courier charges, no more.
