Description
The Original EA-AU Falcon Firewall Clutch Cable Reinforcement Plate. Simple way to repair your XD, XE, XF, EA, EB, ED, EF, EL, XG, XH or AU Falcon firewall from clutch cable exit damage. Also fits Mk2 Escort.
Manufactured in New Zealand by WINZRacing’s Bachelor of Design, these high quality stainless steel plates simply slip over the factory clutch cable exit and secure into place with screws, requiring no welding to repair and strengthen your firewall. Made with a 110mm x 50mm x 5mm stainless plate and a billet stainless one piece snout, they spread the load across more surface area to ensure you will never have an issue with the firewall tearing again.
More information about these firewall clutch cable reinforcement plates can be found in these instructions (may require group membership) or on the E Series Firewall Abusers Facebook group.
Please do not buy copies of this design. Not only does this rip off the creator, but the copies do not fit most clutch cables causing more problems.
If your gearbox is in need of some TLC, see our other listings for clutch parts including new clutch cables, pivot forks, alignment tools, clutches and flywheels.

Fast delivery, good communication, it does save time, I still tacked around the edges in a few spots as my firewall was so cracked and had to die grind horrible welds off from years ago. I think it is a great alternative to plating it all properly like they used to back in the day…

Awesome stuff nothing to fault. I wish bought it sooner

Fits cable beauty. I hear some people have fatter cables than oem, but if you make the hole bigger it wouldn’t fit 99 percent of the cars so snugly. I prefer tight holes. Just sayin.

Very easy to install, just required some filing to clear throttle cable housing thread. I suspected the car had a heavy duty clutch until I found the firewall damage, now it’s much lighter (how it should be basically.) Bonus it looks good installed too.

Looks good out of the packet but I had to drill out the hole .5mm so the cable would pass through it.
Sits against the firewall nicely and doesn’t require screwing to the firewall.

Great design and highly recommended if you’re running a heavy clutch and don’t want to ruin your firewall!

I’ve seen these across facebook and the forums, absolutely necessary if you like to keep your firewall in one piece!
Easy to fit and extremely good quality

Yeah, good things. Cheap compared to a garage workshop or engineer making the area stronger. And looks okay in the engine bay as is good weld and interesting design.
