Pre-Programmed J3 Chip

A J3 chip pre-programmed with a stock tune of your choice. No modifications can be made.

This can be used to replace the program of any compatible ECU with another; for example, an Auto ECU into a Manual, standard ECU into Tickford XR6, standard into Tickford LPG, etc etc. Useful as an alternative to finding a rare XR6 Manual ECU when doing a manual conversion.

Custom Pre-Programmed J3 Chip

A J3 Chip pre-programmed with a custom tune.

On supply of details of your car via email, including make, model, transmission type, engine modifications, fuel type and optionally your "before" dyno sheet(s) showing AFR & RPM, we create a Custom Tune to your specifications, and load it onto a chip ready to use. This can include the disabling Smart Lock or Smartshield for engine conversions, disabling Limp Home Mode (LHM) stall speed (when fitting a hi-stall convertor), raise or lower idle speed, change or remove rev limiter or speed limiter, change of injector size, and customised fuel and spark curves to suit different fuels (Premium, LPG, etc), customised fuel tables and spark tables to suit a modified camshaft, etc. If you have any questions about which chip you need or what to modify for your setup, please Contact us.

Before ordering a Custom Pre-Programmed chip, please contact us with the details of what you need customised in the tune.

Four Tune Selector Switch

The Four Tune Selector Switch allows you to program or select up to four tunes on your vehicle. Tunes can be selected on-the-fly while the vehicle is running. To add one to an existing installation, you will either need to send the chip in to have a connector soldered, or you can opt to do it yourself. If purchasing a new chip the connector is added for free when purchasing the switch. If you want us to program multiple tunes on a J3 Chip, each Custom Tune needs to be ordered seperately.

J3 Chip and Programmer Pack

This pack gives you the ability to do your own custom tuning, assuming you have your own Wideband controller (if not see above). This pack includes a T.I. Performance J3 chip along with a USB based T.I. Performance J3 Programmer, and all cables required to start tuning. This pack will require some knowledge of tuning and is not for beginners.

J3 Chip Programmer

Standalone programmers (if you have already purchased a J3 Chip). The T.I. Performance Programmer allows you to program T.I. Performance J3 chips, as well as read stock EEC binaries (with the appropriate adaptor).

Blank J3 Chip

A blank J3 chip which you can program yourself (using the Programmer).

EEC Reader

This Moates F2E adaptor allows your T.I. Performance J3 Programmer to connect with the J3 service port on your ECU in order to read back or harvest stock binaries. Very useful for obtaining / modifying obscure box codes. Use this program to download bins; ensure TunerPro isn't running and the ECU is powered (plugging it into the vehicle is the easiest way of doing this).

Custom Tune (or retune)

If you already have a compatible T.I. Performance J3 chip, you can purchase from us a custom tune. You can do this to reprogram an existing chip, based on changes to your vehicle, or to program multiple tunes into a single chip with the Four Tune Selector Switch. On supply of a list of your engine modifications, and optionally your "before" dyno sheet(s) showing AFR & RPM, we can create a custom tune to your specifications. This could include the disabling/override of Smart Lock, disable Limp Home Mode (LHM) stall speed (when fitting a hi-stall convertor), raise or lower idle speed, change or remove rev limiter or speed limiter, changing of injector size, and customised fuel and spark curves to suit different fuels (Premium, LPG, etc).

Before ordering a Custom Tune, please contact us with a list of your engine modifications, the model of the vehicle, the transmission type and preferably a dyno sheet with AFR and RPM displayed

12:1 FMU Fuel Management Unit

TurboSmart FCD-1 Fuel Cut Defeater

Use the following button to purchase a TurboSmart FCD-1 Fuel Cut Defeater. An FCD is used to bypass boost pressure over 10psi when using the factory EA-EL 6 Cylinder MAP sensor, allowing you to run more than 10psi boost. The price is $150 for this item.
